  • Units can be taken in ANY ORDER. Students can start from Unit 2 and progress to Unit 1 next semester.


The Italian Wine Scholar education program is an Italian wine course designed to provide committed students of wine with the most advanced and comprehensive specialization study program on Italian wine bar none! It was created by native Italian, Maurizio Broggi, DWS, FWS with the support of the Italian wine DOC/G consortia.

The Unit 2 course is divided into eight 2-hours lessons (plus a one-hour exam), focusing on the wines of Central and Southern Italy and includes 4-6 wine tasting for every lesson.

イタリアン・ワイン・スカラーは、ワインを真剣に学びたい方々に向けて設計された、イタリアワインに関する最も高度で包括的な専門コースです。このプログラムは、イタリアワインDOC/G原産地呼称協会の支援を受けて、ワイン・スカラー・ギルドによって作成されました。

ユニット2講座は、8つの2時間レッスン（＋1時間の試験）に分かれており、イタリア北部のワインに焦点を当てています。各レッスンでは、4～6種類のワインテイスティングが含まれます。

Each Unit (Unit 1 and Unit 2) has a separate exam. To become an Italian Wine Scholar you need to sit both the exam for Unit 1 and the exam for Unit 2 in any order.
Candidates need a composite score of 75% to receive the IWS credential, i.e. the scores from both exams are added together and averaged for final assessment.

各ユニット（ユニット1とユニット2）にはそれぞれ独立した試験があります。イタリアン・ワイン・スカラーになるには、ユニット1とユニット2の両方の試験を受ける必要があります。
受験者はIWS資格を取得するために、総合得点で75％以上が必要です。つまり、両方の試験の得点を合計し、その平均が最終評価となります。
